Finding You.

Finding You. is about two entities drifting through life searching for each other. In youth, they move with a lot of energy but wander kind of aimlessly. As they get older, their sense of direction sharpens, but they are unable to move as fast. Your goal as the player is to not get the entities to meet each other, but to get them to meet at the right time in "life".

You will guide their journey though life through event cards. Every choice affects them. Some cards will grant clarity, while others steal time. And a few will simply hurt.

• Click an entity to apply the card

This is my first game jam and I wanted to try to make something as a solo dev! Everything, except for the music, was made in-engine in Godot. I tried to keep the scope very small to ensure I was able to make something in time. I had a lot of fun making this!

The game jam image made me think of connection and people reaching out for each other. That led me to the thought of how people navigate through life, reaching out, and eventually "finding" each other.
